GRADE 3

“Build a Town” Excursion

On Friday, 11th May, the Grade 3s and Grade 4s went to Mooroopna for an excursion to learn about how the water system works. We discussed how water from the river is cleaned and how it travels to our houses from the water treatment plant. Then we all got into groups and designed a town with a water system followed by a presentation by each group about the water system working in their town. We also learnt how the water gets cleaned and how it is distributed to our houses through the pipes. – Asher Baig
